1. All tuition and other fees should be paid before the first class. For those students who pay the fee later than the first lesson, a $20 late charge will be applied to each selected course.

  2. The Registration Fee and Tuition Fee must be submitted with the Application Form; the Registration Fee is non- refundable. Fees must be paid fully by cheque, cash or bank only and should be made payable to: World Life Education Centre Inc.

  3. There will be a $30 charge for bounced cheques. The school will accept cash only for any school fees from a student with a history of paying with bounced cheques.

  4. All fees are non-transferable in group courses. Tuition fees must be used within 3 months of payment date.

  5. The student is required to purchase the necessary textbook for each course. If the textbooks are returned to the School in good condition, at the end of the course, the School will refund 80% of the value of the textbook (value when purchased) with receipt, 50% will be refunded if there is no receipt. If a book is returned late (i.e. after another semester has passed), students may not be eligible for a refund. Book deposit of $100 must be made with the fee, which is refundable if not used at the end of the tenure at WLEC.

  6. The student is expected to maintain good attendance and participate in class for 110 hours in order to acquire a credit. If he/she missed four classes, he/she may be dropped from the class and receive no tuition refund.

  7. The private tutorials, 36 hours reschedule notice. Late/Absence, warning will be sent via email. Paid class, if you call for cancellation the same day.

  8. The prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  9. If a child is less than 14 years old, the parents have to come and pick up the child from the centre upstairs. If you want your child to go with another parent, please write a permission slip.

  10. Registration Fee: 50 CAD; Payment of private tutorials: 2 month in advance.

Refund Policy

  1. If a student decides to drop a credit course/IELTS for a valid reason before or within 3 days of the course, 60% of the Tuition Fee will be refunded. If the student drops out within a week (5 days for summer school or fast track), 40% of the Tuition Fee will be refunded. After two weeks of the course, there will be no refund.

  2. In the event that a Letter of Acceptance is issued on behalf of a student for Visa of passport extension purposes, there will be no tuition refund unless the extension is rejection. Proof from Canadian Immigration or Embassies must be provided in order to receive a refund.

  3. If you are absent in a group course, no refund will be given for that class.

  4. If you are transferring money from China, please leave the cheque with the amount of money will be returned to you after the money transferred from China. If this case, you are not permitted to sit classes for one week after the registration.
